PacificWIN 's ThinkTankTalanoa (2014)

 

This international fono set the scene for Pacific women and their groups to be part of an international network focused on our shared issues and needs, and as migrant persons/residents/citizens residing in NZ, Australia and USA. 

At this Fono, one of our global leaders in human trafficking invited PacificWIN to take an interest and take up the challenge to join her in her fight against human trafficking. We heard the kalaga and heeded the call, hence our entry into the field of hyuman trafficking in the Pacific Region and with  particularly focus on the safety, strength and security of Pacific Peoples.
